Kuac Graduates’ Union is a professional association established on October 28th, 2020 and legally registered on December 9th, 2022. It operates under the laws of the Trade Unions and Employers Association of South Sudan. The organization was founded with a focus on addressing community needs, providing basic services, and promoting educational literacy and community organization. The union aims to unify graduates and develop programs that contribute to the community’s development. Currently, it is made up of 21 Executive Members who oversee day-to-day activities, and the ‘General Assembly’ serves as the supreme body. Additionally, there are five Advisory Board Members responsible for governance, fundraising, and supporting the union through lobbying and contributions

Mission Statement
Mobilize and unite Kuac University Graduates to ensure eradication of illiteracy, promoting peaceful coexistence and sustainable development in Kuac Community in particular and South Sudan in general.
KGU Objectives
- To coordinate, prepare and update statistical records of Kuac University Graduates yearly in South Sudan and Diaspora.
- To actively participate in education campaign through community mobilization to send children to schools.
- To mobilize Kuac Community Elders, Chiefs, Intellectuals and Businessperson (s) to contribute resources for the construction of schools, health facilities and research centers.
- To encourage Professionals with different skills and various specializations to discourage sectarianism, nepotism and disunity among Kuac graduates and create common purpose that foster development and Unity.
- To deliver basic services needed by our community in the areas of health & nutrition, agriculture and animal health, education, WASH etc.
- To ensure transparency and financial accountability is reflected in the union budget through internal and external auditing.
- To lobby and provide scholarships to Kuac sons and daughters who have special innovative skills in the most technical fields and don’t have financial capacity.
- To promote peaceful coexistence among graduates, Kuac Community and its neighboring communities.
- To create and maintain good relationship and partnership with other organized intellectual bodies and institutions in South Sudan and diaspora.
